This project was my first internship experience. I worked with Good Health Design, a small design research studio based at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). The studio focuses on how product and service design can positively impact health and wellbeing.
In this role, I collaborated with Cassie Khoo on the Museum of Meaningful Moments (MMM), a community wellbeing project that invites people to reflect on their experiences during times of change. The MMM aims to highlight often-overlooked moments in everyday life and encourages individuals of all ages to share their stories. Since its launch in 2020, the project has collected over 150 submissions.
My task was to create a zine for the Auckland Zinefest, held at the Auckland Art Gallery. I selected a submission from the MMM website and interpreted it through my own narrative approach, incorporating personal artistic expression while adhering to a specified visual style. Throughout the process, I developed sketches, explored concepts, and finalised a cohesive design layout.
While I primarily used Procreate for most of my illustrations, I also worked with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to complete the project.
After completing my zine, I had the opportunity to view the printed versions alongside others involved in the project, and I also helped with folding and organising them.

I also got the chance to little illustrations to be put on posters advertising products at the Auckland Zinefest
